Swan Sanctuaries

Sadly a great number of swans are killed or injured each year, either as a result of accidents or, more appallingly, though vandalism.

The Company provides financial support for the two main Swan Sanctuaries on the Thames:

Swan Lifeline at Cuckoo Weir in Eton, and
The Swan Sanctuary at Shepperton.

The Company is the Trustee of "Save our Swans", an established Trust founded to assist in the welfare of sick or injured swans on the Thames. Should you wish to make a donation, please contact:

The Company has also assisted in the transformation of the old reservoir at Barnes into the stunning WWF Wetland Centre, providing a sanctuary for all sorts of wildlife, including swans, and an education centre for schoolchildren.
