The Institute of Masters of Wine exists to promote the highest level of educational achievement for the wine industry, culminating in the internationally recognised qualification of Master of Wine (MW).

Wine and Spirit Education Trust

The Trust's principal function is to further trade education under the Industrial Training Acts. The Company continues to fund specific projects within the Trust. In 2007/2008, 24,321students sat WSET examinations.

This Association aims to improve the trading environment within which its members operate. It offers a range of up-to-date relevant services, information and direct assistance to its members which will add value to their organisations.

The Benevolent

Formerly The Wine and Spirit Trades' Benevolent Society, founded in 1886, The Benevolent helps members connected with the alcoholic drinks trade. Beneficiaries can be current or retired trade members, or their immediate dependants, and come from all areas, including brewers, wholesalers, off licencees, shippers, producers and journalists.
