Vinters’ Volunteer Day at City Harvest

Thank you to City Harvest, the food rescue charity and one of the charities supported by the Vintner’s Company, for hosting the very first Vintners' Volunteer Day at their fun and busy warehouse in Acton on 9 November.

The merry band of Vintners' volunteers, including the Master, are pictured above here by the jointly branded City Harvest/Vintners’ Company van which now in its second year has delivered over 33,000 nutritious meals, the equivalent of 1.2 million retail value of food free to charities, or 350 tons of healthy food diverted from landfill and 968 tons of greenhouse gases prevented.

Thank you volunteers for your hard work and enthusiasm. We hope to organise more volunteer days in the future.
