Wine Trade Lunch in support of The Drinks Trust

Today the Company’s new year kicked off with the annual Vintners’ Company Wine Trade Lunch, bringing together senior members of the trade at this wonderful event to raise money for The Drinks Trust. Formerly ‘The Benevolent’, and in fact founded by the Vintners’ Company in 1886, The Drinks Trust today provides much-needed vocational, emotional and financial support to the drinks workforce.

Master Vintner Edward Berry said: “It was a pleasure to welcome so many high-profile representatives of the trade today. The Company has an established history of supporting the drinks community and, along with enjoying an exquisite lunch, I am pleased that the tickets sold for this event increased our donation to The Drinks Trust this year to £12,000.”
