Congratulations to the new Masters of Wine

Huge congratulations to the five new Masters of Wine (MWs) and the seven award winners at today’s Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW) awards ceremony, recognising excellence in all areas of the MW examination.

We were delighted to welcome the new MWs to Vintners’ Hall who hail from five countries.

Pictured with the Master Vintner Richard Wilson MBE DL VR (centre), IMW’s Chair Rod Smith, and Executive Director Sarah Harrison, the new MWs include: Jit Hang Jackie Ang MW (Singapore), Amanda Barnes MW (Argentina), Sarah Benson MW (UK), Kathleen Van den Berghe MW (Belgium) and Qian Janice Wang MW (Denmark).

The Master Vintner also presented Amanda Barnes MW the Vintners' Company award, for the top performance in the business of wine paper.
